The City Council of Funchal in the Autonomous Region of Madeira has established a City Tax effective as of October 1st, 2024. The City Tax will be charged to all overnight stays occurring from this date onwards in the city of Funchal, The value of the mandatory fee will be charged for stays starting on October 1st, 2024, 2€ (Two Euros) per night/per guest up to a maximum of 7 consecutive nights per person, and will be charged to all guests aged thirteen years old or over.

Please note that the City Tax is not reflected in the Units prices and must be paid directly by guests at the hotel (when checking in or checking out).
