Opened in the so-called belle époque, it was built in 1896 and completely restored in 2004. Designed by the architect Rafale Moreno , the hotel has been renovated along with the Casino building, respecting the original facade, cataloged as a National Tourist Interest. In the renovation of the Gran Hotel all the materials used have been meticulously selected, being all the original stonework in its entirety, replenishing new pieces manually made equal to the original ones. The wood that lines its walls is oak and the floors of the rooms of polished and polished Cenia stone, and the rest of Oak Flooring.
