Built around 1870, the establishment is a non-smoking city hotel with a country house atmosphere. Featuring interior wall paintings, frescoes, a magnificent oak staircase and a gallery with stained glass, examples of the modernist style provided by the designer, George Walton. Offering 63 comfortable non-smoking rooms, of which 15 are located in the Elmbank Lodge annex and are equipped with all modern amenities. The hotel has a banquet hall for 200 guests, ideal for weddings and other social events, plus a conference room for 100 pax.
