The Club Hotel San Diego is located on the coast of Maratea, where towering rocky cliffs dramatically jut into the Tyrrhenian Sea or retreat to embrace small coves and sandy beaches. The hotel is situated in Acquafredda, 1, 500 meters from the village and 10 kilometers from the center of Maratea. The property consists of a multi-story Mediterranean-style central building housing the lobby, bar, restaurant, and rooms. Across the coastal road, connected by a private underpass, lies a large private park featuring a panoramic swimming pool, amphitheater for entertainment activities, fitness area, and a second bar. A unique feature of the park is an Ancient Spanish Watchtower from 1595, offering breathtaking views stretching to Capo Palinuro and the Gulf of Policastro. From June 8th to September 7th, a small entertainment team organizes various activities, including sports during the day and shows, themed parties, and dancing in the evening. For younger guests, there is a Mini Club for ages 4-7 and a Junior Club for ages 8-13, offering activities in the morning and afternoon. The hotel is perched on a 40-meter-high cliff above the sea, with access via stairs and a steep path leading to flat rock formations for experienced swimmers and sun terraces equipped with umbrellas and sunbeds. From June 8th to September 7th, beach services are available at a nearby sand and pebble beach, about 1, 000 meters away, connected by a shuttle service. During this period, all guests must pay a Club Card Fee: €8 per day for adults and €4 per day for children ages 4-12. This fee covers access to the pool, shuttle service, entertainment, and activities.
